Fractal Imaginator x64 |
|
Fractal Imaginator x64 was rewritten to take advantage of the new generation of 64-bit computers now on the market. As such it is 2-3 times faster than the 32 bit model. Export models can be up to 10 million faces or more, unsimplified, limited only by the amount of system memory available. Caveats: the 64 bit model has a different structure alignment and larger pointer size, so data files (.fim) produced with the 32 bit model are incompatible with this version. There is, however, a transfer routine in the latest 32 bit version of Fractal Imaginator that allows most of the parameters in older .fim files to be converted to a format Fractal Imaginator x64 can load. Fractal Imaginator x64 runs only on 64-bit Windows. Fractal Imaginator is an innovative new program for generating fractal images. Based on Fractal Zplot, parts of this program have been in continuous development since 1989. New additions to Imaginator are drawn from Jules Ruis' BBM8 program and "Fractal Awareness" algorithms. Fractal Imaginator currently supports Julius Ruis sets of Julia basins, orbit-traps, level sets, Newton's method, and Phoenix curves, as well as the standard Mandelbrot and "warped" Mandelbrot sets and many 3D fractal types, including quaternions, mandelbulbs and lsystems. A trial version of Fractal Imaginator x64 is available. This contains most of the features of the full version, except that the image size is limited to 320X240 and the precision of 3D object exports is fixed at 300 steps. The trial version is for evaluation purposes only. Click here for more info. $50.00 To Buy:
Registered users of Fractal Imaginator (32 bit) can upgrade to Fractal Imaginator x64 for $20. To Upgrade:
