Macro Photo Gallery

The images on this page were all captured with a Ricoh 5300 digital camera at a resolution of 1792X1200.   In order to fit on the average monitor and for clarity of composition, some post-processing was done on each bitmap via Paint Shop Pro 4. 

The nice thing about macro photography is the unexpected nature and detail of close-up views.  Flowers can be very spectacular and 'ordinary' objects such as pine cones, extremely curious...
